...Release Him or Let the Truth Face the Light of Day in Court 

When a man helps you start a fire, you rarely expect the flames to burn down your own house. But in the unpredictable waters of the Niger Delta, loyalty often shifts as fast as the tide, leaving behind broken alliances and dangerous truths.

The recent arrest of activist Ezekiel Daniel Perela Osia has sent shockwaves through the region, sparking intense outcry from community leaders and former associates alike. 

Once considered a fiercely loyal defender of high-profile figures in the area, Ezekiel’s sudden detention by security agencies comes immediately after he publicly broke ranks to condemn the very system he once helped protect.

Speaking out with uncompromising clarity on the controversial arrest, prominent voice Tare made it clear that this sudden turn of events exposes a much deeper hypocritical dynamic at play.

Tare pointed out that when Ezekiel Daniel stood alongside powerful figures to attack opposing leaders, no one moved to put him in handcuffs. But the moment that same critical fire turned to consume the wrongdoing within his former camp, the state was quickly weaponized to quiet him. 

Tare Olutu stressed that life always catches up to those in power, noting that no matter how long someone evades accountability, a time inevitably comes when they must face the consequences of their actions.

According to Tare Olutu, Ezekiel Daniel finally realized the gravity of his past mistakes, openly admitting that his former support for oppressive actions and regional intimidation was a tragic error. 

Having seen the light, Ezekiel began speaking the truth, stating clearly that what he was pushed to do in the past was wrong. Yet, instead of receiving room for redemption, his outspokenness earned him a cell.

Directing his message at Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, Tare Olutu minced no words. He reminded Tompolo that Ezekiel was once his absolute best man, a devoted foot soldier who even went to prison on his behalf. 

Expressing deep disappointment, Tare Olutu warned Tompolo that he has completely strayed from his rightful path, promising to keep speaking out until the message is understood. 

Tare added that those who tremble at the thought of prison simply do not understand it, emphasizing that being put behind bars does not erase the truth or diminish the cause.

Tare urged Tompolo to immediately order the release of Ezekiel Daniel before the full extent of their behind-the-scenes games is completely exposed to the global community. Evil can remain hidden in the dark for a period, but no secret stays buried forever.

The core issue remains glaringly simple: Ezekiel Daniel was routinely used as a mouthpiece to fight opponents for personal gains, but the moment he gained clarity and called out the injustice, he was locked away. 

Tare challenged Tompolo to take Ezekiel straight to a court of law if genuine charges exist against him, while boldly predicting that a public legal battle would only expose all their carefully guarded secrets to the open air.

Addressing the Nigerian security agencies directly, Tare Olutu expressed sharp condemnation over their handling of the situation. 

Numerous petitions detailing serious atrocities committed across the region have sat unattended on the desks of law enforcement officers for months. Instead of investigating these grave reports and prosecuting those truly responsible, security forces have turned around to arrest the very whistleblowers coming forward to complain, a dynamic Tare Olutu described as a deep, structural shame to modern society.
