In a heartfelt address, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel spoke out against the systemic marginalization of Egbema youths under the Amnesty Programme, a situation he claims has turned them into outcasts within an office that is inherently theirs. "The blood that gives life to this Amnesty office is ours, yet we find ourselves at the mercy of the twisted whims of the Oporoza Wicked leadership," he stated, expressing his deep frustration over what he described as "the wickedness and selfishness of these pharaohs in Oporoza."
Highlighting a significant and troubling incident, Daniel revealed that the Oporoza Wicked leadership, particularly individuals like Dennis Otuaro and other influential figures within the community, removed Ogomugo Marbo from his position within the Amnesty office. The justification? A mere photograph taken with Gen Paul Boro—an action that Daniel associates with the deep-seated animosity towards Egbema. "Our people have suffered enough at the hands of Oporoza family greed," he lamented.
Further emphasizing the inequalities that Egbema youths face, Daniel pointed out that out of 235 students sent abroad under Dennis Otuaro's administration in the Amnesty Programme, fewer than ten belong to the Egbema community. "This glaring favoritism, with the majority of benefits going to Gbaramatu youths, is nothing short of 'hatred pro max,'" he asserted, showcasing the stark disparities within the program.
Daniel accused the leadership of the Amnesty office, which he referred to as the "Pharaohic Oporoza family," of being fundamentally anti-Egbema. "While young people from other kingdoms receive scholarships and other forms of support, our kingdom’s youths are left to struggle without assistance. This is a wicked cabal that needs to be held accountable," he stressed, invoking a sense of collective injustice that resonates within his community.
Moreover, Daniel condemned the actions of the Oporoza wicked leadership in their dealings with Egbema Kingdom. He expressed grave concern over the deployment of security personnel, particularly an individual known as Super Ebilade Kamboh, who has been accused of using Tantita Security Services boats to invade Egbema and kidnap youths and taken to Oporoza for torture. "They are taking matters into their own hands instead of allowing Nigerian security forces to carry out their duties," he argued, calling for a cessation of violence and intimidation against his community.
In closing, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for the rights and dignity of Egbema youths, insisting that justice must prevail. "God will judge you people. It is time for us to stand together against this oppression," he declared, rallying his community to seek justice and equality within the Amnesty Programme and beyond.
As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the grievances of the Egbema youths will be addressed and whether the leadership will reconsider their approach to inclusivity and fairness within the Amnesty Programme.
