TODAY, JULY 11, 2026, MARKED EXACTLY 2 YEARS SINCE THE DISAPPEARANCE OF PRIEST BALAMENE KAROWEI

Today makes it exactly two years since Priest Balamene Karowei was taken away from his home. On July 11, 2024, armed men acting on the orders of Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, kidnapped the peaceful priest. For two long years, his family has lived in deep pain and sorrow.

The kidnapping was planned using tricks and force. It started when Bodmas Kemepadei sent two boys, Prince Miebi and Tekena, to the priest’s house under the pretense of wanting spiritual help.

Soon after, Bodmas Kemepadei arrived with a group of armed men, including NSCDC security officers named Lucky Kenibai, Okosia Makeni, and Yusuf. They forcefully dragged the priest away, pushing his pregnant wife into a gutter as she cried for help.

These kidnappers drove the priest through Tombia, stopping right in front of Joshua Maciver’s house, before heading to Warri. Along the way, Bodmas Kemepadei ordered the boys to blindfold the priest and his assistant and take away their phones.

In Warri, they took the priest to a compound where Godfrey Tare Pondi ordered the security officers to put him in handcuffs before they transferred him to Tompolo.

By using weapons, private prisons, and fear to abduct innocent citizens, Tompolo is not different from the bandits and terrorists terrorizing other parts of the country.

Just like terrorists, he and his gang believe they are above the law and can destroy lives without being questioned. Their actions have brought tears and terror to a peaceful people.

No matter how long it takes, the family of Balamene Karowei will get justice. The passage of time will never erase this evil act, and the truth will not be hidden forever.

Tompolo, Bodmas Kemepadei, Godfrey Tare Pondi, Joshua Maciver, and all the security officers involved will surely face the law and spend their time behind bars at the right time.

President Tinubu should know that by engaging Tompolo with a government contract, he is empowering a man who is fully involved in the acts of kidnapping, running a private prison, human trafficking, organ harvesting, human ritual killings, and the beheading of Nigerians.

Tompolo and his group should be prosecuted and put behind bars, not given a government contract.
