In my years as a Nigerian who’s very politically aware, there are people and places I don’t and Nigerians don’t take seriously and one of such places and people is the National Assembly.
Two things I will set straight.
I know Senator Jarigbe, his involvement with Enserve which is an arm of NNPC and will leave it at that.
I know guy man Ugochinyere Ikenga, who used activism to steady clean Emefiele as CBN Governor. The guy man work is what feeds him in the House of Reps till date right from the issues of NNPC and Dangote to Fubara & Wike. The clown who got his bribe and came straight to the US last two weeks said he invited us and we didn’t show up. We know ourselves in this activism and I won’t say more on it.
For Mercy Johnson husband, that one has no say of his own. He was the one Pondi called the first time and shouted at him for involving himself in the pipeline surveillance probe and banged call on him. He should deny it so I bring proof. He was also compelled to pass a vote of confidence as his punishment for not being a good boy.
I already made an expose of a UK trip where $7 million exchanged hands to kill the probe.
Yesterday, when they sent me the invitation, it was still one of them in the committee who called me about the proposed outcome of the gathering which will be to pass a vote of confidence on Tantita, which I also shared this morning.
The National Assembly committee invites MDAs when the Oga of those places don’t remit to them and once they remit, they pass a vote of confidence.
If Emefiele was not sacked, they would have passed a vote of confidence on him despite obvious corruption carried out by him. And for a Godswill Akpabio who still has EFCC cases on his neck, what gives him money from behind is what he allows vote of confidence.
We are always one step ahead of them. People are tired of this monopoly and it CANNOT stand in the Niger Delta region anymore.
Who will take a NASS where Julius Pondi, the brother to one of the owners of Tantita, Keston Pondi and a nephew to Tompolo is a House of Representatives member serious? That is just a presentation of Tantita’s scorecard that even failed the job they have been given.
The region will be the one to pass a vote of confidence and the President will be the one to decide the peace of the region, not rubber stamped committee members desperately looking for Tantita and Maton dollars that belongs to the entire region, to fund their 2027 elections.
Until the President decides and stamps, the agitation toward decentralization of the N2.1 trillion specifically against Tantita/Maton continues. It renews every August and we will ask for our own share till that time.
Gbaramatu really look other Ijaws and other tribes in the region as mumu to allow them guard their own place and they will let them. Will they ever allow Urhobo, Isoko, Akwa Ibom, Kalabari, Itsekiri or other tribes guard their place without turning the place upside down if the reverse was the case. Or should we talk about how Niger Delta Avengers suddenly came up in order to get permanent cut from Capo when he was handling it and they got it? Give it up. Our mumu don do.
Now cry more. I love the tears.
If the wealth won’t flow round, then let it not flow at all.
Guard your pipeline and I guard my own.
